Cordless Heat Detector Tester. Portable and cordless, this tester enables testing of heat detectors quickly and easily without the need for mains power. Heat is generated only when the detector under test is within the cup. Hot air is blown horizontally in a focussed beam directly toward the sensor for optimum energy use and results. Suitable for fixed temperature, rate of rise and combination detectors up to 194°F / 90°C and compatible with the Solo range of access poles, allowing use on detectors mounted at height as well as low level. Supplied with fast charger and two rechargeable NiMH battery batons.Using the unique Cross Air Technology, air is heated and blown across the cup ensuring the heat source is directed at the sensor and not the plastic components or casing.Endorsed by leading detector manufacturers
