Rotronic Wall Mount CO2 Display measures and records CO2, relative humidity and temperature. Accuracy. Carbon dioxide (CO2) levels are a key indicator of indoor air quality in schools, colleges, offices, cinemas, underground spaces and other public areas. A high level of CO2 impairs concentration and decision-making ability. It can be crucial in production processes throughout industry and store rooms where CO2 gas cylinders are kept (regrettably there have been fatalities caused by leaking valves). CO2 monitoring is also important in horticulture, poultry production, test rooms and research projects.A high concentration of carbon dioxide can develop quickly in rooms of all types and indoor public spaces where people are present, when there is insufficient fresh air ventilation. A moderately high CO2 concentration in indoor air causes people to experience rapid fatigue with loss of concentration and decision-making ability. The negative effects become noticeable more quickly in small rooms such as classrooms, conference or meeting rooms, open plan offices, indoor public spaces and elsewhere.
