The RS Pro CAT 6 Networking cables run at speeds up to 10/100/1000 which is commonly referred to as Gigabit networking speeds. The internal conductors are made from 26 AWG 100 percent Full copper, have a LZSH jacket and the outer diameter is 5.4mm. The connectors are RJ45 and the pins are gold plated to help prevent corrosion. The wiring uses the TIA/EIA-568B wiring which is standard for most networking uses.
