RS PRO Flame Retardant Superwool 607 Fibre Thermal Insulation, 1.8 m x 610 mm x 50 mm
Made from high-temperature insulating wool, this thermal insulation sheet from RS PRO won't give off fumes or smells during its first firing as it doesn't contain binders or lubricants. This makes it ideal for use in chimneys and a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) ducts and chimneys.The flexible blanket is easy to cut and shape to your needs and is flame-retardant, immune to thermal shock and resistant to chemicals. This makes it suitable for use in heat shields, mould-wrap insulation or as passive fire protection. It is easy to wrap around hot equipment and provides thermal stability and low heat storage. It can operate at up to +1300ºC in the short term and at +1150ºC continuously.
This thermal insulation is versatile and can be found in domestic ovens and storage heaters. As part of the RS PRO range, it has been thoroughly tested for safety, durability and quality.
